Liquor of Opium
Take of powdered Opium 1 1/2 ounce, lemon juice 1 1/2 pint; infuse and evaporate to 15 ounces, add 5 ounces of rectified spirit, filter after standing twenty-four hours. [Similar to the once celebrated Black Drops].
