Yesterday I found a new bookshop and picked up a little book on chinese festivals of both Han and Minority peoples published by Foreign Language Press.

4) 5 books that mean a lot to me?:
Hard to say
"Inner Quarters" by Patricia Ebrey as it got me to take a class from her and got me back to unversity and closer to grad school.
"Dream of Red Mansions" cause it's practically perfect.
crap, it's difficult to pick just 5, and so hard to pick 5 out of all different catagories, and from the whole of my life. There are too many books!
I love HG Wells, The sleeper must awaken, Thackery's Vanity Fair, Douglas Adams Hitchhikers series cause I got to share it with my dad. Asimov's "Caves of steel" because it's proto cyber punk and has robots, Stephen Teiser's book "The Ghost Festival" cause I'd love to write a book like that someday, as the same can be said for "In search of Personal Welfare" by Muchou Poo. I think my favorite book on early Chinese religion. I'm sure I could go on and on. The theme of this journal is books, and theres a lot in my interest list. I seem to be bad at picking favorites.

星期三半夜我看了“星际大战”，昨天我和我丈夫买了多“星际大战”东西。我们又看了“星际大战”。我不学中文，但是我看了中文书。
