There are tigers on the mountain. These tigers harm men and also injure domestic animals. The Hunters plan to trap the tiger. They made a trap and with big characters wrote on the wall saying, underneath is a tiger trap, travelers halt. The characters were not only big but also clear. A certain illiterate countryman passed under the wall, he was singing as he walked. He mistakenly stepped on the tiger trap and fell into the middle of it. He cried aloud in order to seek help. When he got out someone explained for him the meaning of what was written on the wall. The countryman sighing said, If I were able to read would I have come to this?

My translation:
one evening a group of children were playing in the middle of the courtyard. The bright moon began to rise. The courtyard was covered with the shadows of the trees. All the boys were happy. after awhile one of the boys felt that a person was following him. He became very frightened. He told his friends. His friends said, the person following you is your shadow. when you walk under moonlight your shadow follows you on the ground. How did you forget this?
