On the road to employment

Well it went well, the guy said it was a shame I wasn't looking for full time work as he'd be able to get me an interview for sure, but thought he'd definitly be able to find part time work for me at their other house. The only trouble is I have to wait 4-6 weeks for my background check to go through. So now I don't know if it's worth looking at other agencies in the meantime, as I won't be able to work for them either, but I suppose I'll get an idea of what's out there. I guess it can't really hurt, and I can look into other seasonal work that doesn't require a background check.

But it did go well, and eventually I'll probably get some work. Just a bit disheartening that it's such along wait but I was kinda expecting it so I suppose it's not such a big shock.
