Last night Bill gave me the short story "The Yellow Wallpaper" by Charlotte Perkins Gilman. It was almost shockingly good. If you can track down a copy you should read it. That's all I can say really as it's better if you know nothing while reading it. (At least that's how I felt).
I managed to take out 1700 words today from my long essay. It's still technically 500 words too long but hopefully can manage a few more with a bit of polishing, and don't think a couple hundred can make all that much difference!
I found out I got a B (I think if I am remembering strange English grading correctly) on the Chinese exam I took before Christmas with the horrendously difficult grammar questions so I'm reasonably pleased with that. (Part 2 of the test is this Thursday).
I don't get to start my job at the library till Feburary, (rather sad) and it's supposed to be every other week, but my old boss seems to think I should manage to work every weekend if I desire too. (Which I do)
Money is exceptionaly tight at the moment so don't know when I'll be going out again, would love to make Kryptorium this Saturday but don't know if that's justifiable at this point. But at least home is now full of lovely books again so I'm not going to be bored.
