(no subject)

Essays can be very slow going! Working for the past 5 hours I've managed to get an introduction to my essay on Empress Wu, and managed to put in the sources/quotes for Confucanism and Buddhism for the Women in Chinese Religion essay. I really want to finish that rough draft today but I still have Taoism and Popular Religion to deal with so I'm not sure if I'll manage that. It's already almost 800 words over the limit, but as it's only the rough draft that's probably for the best.

Yesterday we had a very nice bibliogoth meeting. Not only did silkyraven manage to lead a very good discussion. But Bill and I recruited bencurthoys and nimstar into our plan for putting together a salon. They agreed to find people and a place. Should be very good. Nothing nicer than drinks, whether coffee or alcohol, and sitting round and having great discussions with people about literature, life, and philosophy.
