My course work is all handed in! Both essays all done! To celebrate I went and checked out some books on Chinese demons and ghosts, modern martial arts novels in translation, and a lovely Edward Schafer book. Looking forward to some nice reading this weekend.
Revision classes have started and they seem quite helpful. I'm looking forward to the religions exam, the hard part will be deciding which questions to revise for. But I think it's going to have to be afterlife/netherworlds, cause I have to write about hell and ghosts. The second question is harder to decide, popular religion and cults are both very tempting,or I could write about the Imperial impact on religion. I think I'm going to skip Women and religion though having just written the essay it would be quite easy, but also too dull because of repetition.
My research methods and Chinese exam I am quite dreading. I think a lot more, not nearly as interesting revision will have to happen for those classes. I think I shall have to study Chinese at least an hour every day between now and the exam, and several days much more than that.
I even FINALY got paid for the work at the V&A, at least Feb and March's wages! I have a cold beer and a cat on my lap. Life is good.
