The Chinese exam yesterday was a bit of a nightmare, but fortunatly EVERYONE seemed to find it that way. It was almost fun in a kind of perverse way. But finishing feels like such a relief.
Last night went out to the Dev to celebrate
silkyraven's birthday. Brought along Alan and Kelly who really seemed to like it. Only drank two beers but have been quite headachey today.
Today's best book of the morning was Charles I's correspondance with his sister the Queen of Bohemia! Wow they had some NICE handwriting, especialy hers. It felt so strange actually being able to read the correspondance between monarch siblings. Did they ever think it would be read by anyone else? Unfortunatly had to send it down to the reader so didn't get too long a look. But VERY COOL. I do so love my job. Apparently we have a "unspecified royal" visitor tommorow.
I'm sure there was something else to write, but lack of sleep and beer has made me headachey and forgetfull. Still I can't complain. One more day of work then days off with no work, no homework and lovely friends visiting. Saturday's plan is to FINALY get to Abney Park cemetary, followed by my sister's birthday party and sunday is Bibliogoth for I Claudius which I loved. (Though am going to attempt to sit next to Ruth so can keep up with the Grand Prix via her phone). I have nothing to complain about at the moment. If it weren't for currently reading a celebration of death I would question whether such a positive attitude towards life still enables me to call myself a goth.
