(no subject)

Yesterday was very good. I manged to finish editing Chapter 1 by 1.30pm and started on Chapter 3 and sent off an edited version of that chapter to my professor by 5pm. 2 out of 4 chapters edited! To celebrate such accomplishments headed to the Interpid Fox for M:Alice where it seemed like everyone showed up! So great to see so many friends and chat. Attempted to convince silkraven to join us for Slimes this Saturday. Properly met and chatted with magpie_queen which was really nice.

Today is my first day back at work in two weeks! It feels odd to be back, I feel like I've been gone for ages. I think the slight hangover and feelings of tiredness are probably not helping. But I've already come across a great book, Photos of Old Beijing which is just a collection of hundreds of turn of the century and early Republican era photos of Beijing, with text in Chinese and English. There are so many books I want to read at this library! I'm thinking I should have put my unedited chapters in an email attachment so I could do some work. But at least I brought a book to study from. I feel like I shouldn't be working and playing so hard this weekend. But it will be a well deserved reward if I manage to get everything done by then.
