Dickens?

So now I've been working at the NAL for a year, and as it's getting suitably cold and dreary I thought it was time I got around to reading some Dickens. What would you recommend? I read the first page of David Copperfield and found it a bit annoying, Bleak House seemed to start in November which seemed appropriate. Suggestions?
