(no subject)

I don't want to go to a job interview today! I want to play in the snow!!!!

My true addiction....

So in January I managed to give up social drinking and smoking without a second thought. Then I decided I would not buy any books in Feburary. A week in I failed! I went into the discount store by my work as they were having "50 percent off sale items" so I thought I'd see if they had anything for Bill I could buy for a Valentine's present. I did find a loeb classic of Aesclyus (which I gave him because I was worried he might already have it, he did have it in Greek and French but hopefully the new version will end up being usefull for the notes or something, it was only £2.50 which is damn good for Loebs!)

I also bought myself,
Gender, Sex and Subordination in England 1500-1800 by Anthony Fletcher
and
Promises Broken: Courtship, Class, and Gender in Victorain England by Ginger S. Frost.
Both university press books for £1.50 each!!! I just couldn't let them sit in the shops when they cost less than a cup of coffee!

I will try and resist temptation for the rest of the month....
