Returning to the world of LJ

Managed to avoid any HP spoilers before finishing the book. Horrah! I greatly enjoyed it and actually shed a ton of tears at the end. I tried to read it slowly to savour it a bit more as it was the last one, but just couldn't quite manage it after getting about half way through. Having to end my lunch break with 50 pages left was one of the most frustrating things I've had to do in ages. I like Harry Potter, it makes me feel like a child again.

In other news, Floyd has an anal gland abcess, eww. He is shot full of anti-biotics and painkillers and now REALLY hates the vets. But he should get better soon.

I was also SHOCKED to see the town where I grew up on the cover of TWO papers today.



I worked in that Abbey gift shop one summer!
