(the good)Yesterday I registered for another year of Chinese classes at the university of Westminster. This year I am taking grade 5 which is lower advanced. I saw the teachers from last year and they were very nice. I am really looking forward to it. I feel I've not been studying nearly enough the past couple months. I put on my first Chinese dialogues on my mp3 player to listen to at work which I think is going to be GREAT practice, but I was embarressed to say that even though it was level 1 part 1, there were some things I couldn't understand. I think a lot of practice will be in order before the 24th.
(the bad) They over-charged me for my course by £130 which I didn't realise until I got to the tube stop (I thought it had been a rather steep tuition hike since last term) so the registration process ended up taking twice as long as I thought, and no one really apologised! GRRR!
(more good) After a month without internet at home they are coming and installing it this saturday! Horray! I will be able to write in Chinese again!
(but the best of all) I only have to work a half day tommorow and then get to go and collect
josienutter from the airport! And then get to go to B Movie, now a ten minute bus ride from my house! RAR!!!!
