Chinese Grade 5

Yesterday was the start of my new Chinese class, grade 5 (Advanced standard). It was enjoyable but I found I got quite lost for some parts of it. I think part of the trouble is that it's a combined grade 5 and 6 class. Which makes me feel not so bad as there is a certain ammount I shouldn't get, but it can still be difficult. For the past couple weeks I've been listening to a couple of hours of dialogues a day at work and I've found this is really helping my listening skills, and wish I'd been doing this for the past 3 years instead of just starting now! But hopefully I'll keep making progress and eventually get there.
