Was a truly lovely weekend. Started with a trip down the Dev for a drink with ![[livejournal.com profile]](https://www.dreamwidth.org/img/external/lj-userinfo.gif)
gypseymission which turned into 5 in that way that drinking with Aaron usually does! Ended up staying later than planned in order to see sahra_patroness and sinbadsilk
Despite the mild hangovers we still made it up in time for our train on Saturday morning and headed down to the South Coast to visit Pevensey. We stayed in a gorgeous 17th century Inn, we walked through the countryside, visited the seaside, saw Norman churches and the lovely castle with it's Roman walls. (Pictures posted soon!)
It was fantastic to get away for exploring. Bill and I both decided we need to do more! Given the weather today though looks like we got away just in time. :)
