Milan Kundera "The Joke"

I liked this best of the three of Kundera's books I've read so far. I loved the interweaving plot and characters. It was good to see the different perspectives of what was happening and was all around very enjoyable. It was nice to read about the younger characters, the part when he was in "the army" was reminiscent of Kerouac. The impossibility of ideals (whether love or communism) was a lovely theme for the book. Definitely recommended.
