Philip, Vol. II by Thackery.

This book took quite a long time to read. I Love Thackery's style in this book, however there seemed to be very little plot and the main characters, Philip and his wife, were rather dull. I enjoyed all the asides that were in the voice of the narrator, and thought him and his wife were much more interesting. The ending seemed quite sudden and dramatic and not terribly surprising. On the whole it was a good read but not fantastic.
