I thought I'd try and do something clever with the pictures but then decided just to post them instead so I have more time to write my dissertation. (Today's total so far is 2000 words, its now officially twice the length it sould be).
Just to prove it really was Paris and we didn't just hide out and pretend we were in Paris here is a picture of Notre Dame to prove it!

We took several pictures of Gothic Cathedrals for
funk_odyssey
Sacré Coeur
Gargoyle becoming one with nature on the Sacré Coeur

St. Pierre (pl. du Tertre)

The first bottle of wine of the trip €2,85 what a bargin!

Drinking wine and Watching French television, which oddly enough mentioned the high school
deliciouspear went to.

The rather small horde from the first day. I was so pleased to find a 600 page book of Rilke, having just rediscovered how much I love him. As well as the "Murder at Canton" which is a detective serial set in Tang China written by a Sinologist! They were originally written in English but I've been searching for years for them and never been able to find ANY. In Paris there were many! The other German book is Bill's.

Tonight drinks in the Eastend with Ruth and Co. Tommorow perhaps an attempt to return to Club Bohemia, it's Roman night and there are no bands! Sunday Dresden Dolls Cabaret to which I'm thinking of wearing drag. All in all I suppose it's not SO bad to be back in London!!!
