After emailing my professor about feeling a bit discouraged he wrote me back and said this,

There is no reason to feel discouraged, and I'm sorry if I gave you the impression I thought some major revision was in order. You've done an excellent job so far, and we're certainly not going to throw it away.

So that looks much better. Perhaps I might make it to the Intrepid Fox tommorow after all.
