Well Bill and I went to chop suey last night to see Ursula and Jackie on stage together again, and some lesbian bands. The lesbians were okay, though playing rap, and trippy music not really my cup of tea.
But it was really good to see the ladies back on stage. We missed their opening number. But were there in time to see Jackie Hell Unplugged. Jackie treated us to an acoustic version of "hey babe you wanna buggie" and "I'm sad the goat just died today" while Ursula banged away on an acoustic guitar. The third song a new number for Debbie entitled, "unicorns and hobits" was interrupte, by Ursula who proceed to announce that folk was crap and smash the guitar on the stage, and sing a number of her own, whose name escapes me but it was damn funny.
They also did a cute number which involved Jackie chasing Ursula around the club with chains, strangling her and then singing "tonight I kill", with Ursula dead on the stage. We were too tired to stay and see if there were any more shenanigans after King Cobra. But it was an amusing night nonetheless.
