Well we are all moved into the new flat. We've spent the last couple days buying all the necessities for the flat, kettle, computer monitor etc. Still several things left to get, like a futon so we can stop sleeping on the floor, but it's so nice to have our own place again. It's been really making me miss the cat but hopefully he'll be able to come and join us in just a few weeks!
I managed to get broadband arranged for the new place but it's going to take 10 days or so to get it hooked up. So I won't be able to read much of my friends journals for awhile, sorry. And I'll have to practice my Chinese journal by hand! Oh well it could be worse. We do have 4 new video games to keep us busy. The best is called typing of the dead, which is based on the old shooter "House of the Dead 2" but instead of shooting them you have to type very quickly. It's fun to touch type and kill zombies.
Still no work for Bill, though he did get another call back today which is good. I'm starting to worry a bit that at this rate I may end up working too. Of course part of me really misses working and my old tards but only about 2 more weeks now until the course starts and then I'm sure I'll be much busier and not miss work at all!
My mum is coming to visit and is staying with us from Thursday-Sunday, and then my sister Alice is coming to visit Friday-Sunday. So that should keep us busy. I'm going to see if I can't convince Alice to come out with us to Krytorium this Saturday, otherwise it looks like the next time we might be heading out would be Tuesday to the Dev. I can't wait till there's regular employment again so we can go out more. But hopefully we'll see people again soon!
