Today I took a Chinese test, this evening I wrote up my presentation on Gender and Confucanism that I have to give tommorow. AND managed to finish my video game! (Alone in the Dark 4, which was OK)

And after bad mouthing SOAS Chinese department I am still glad to be going there as next week they are having two very cool evening lectures.

Professor Zhang Zong from the Chinese Academy of Social
Sciences will give a lecture on:
'PAINTINGS AND SCULPTURES OF THE TEN KINGS OF HELL' (In Chinese with translation)

and

Professor Zhou Shoujin of Peking University will be
speaking on:
'BEYOND SINS AND PENALTIES: A COMMENTARY ON THE EXCAVATED JURIDICAL DOCUMENTS OF THE QIN DYNASTY: SOCIETY AND LANGUAGE.'

As well as a lecture of freelancing as a historical researcher, and a meeting with a Free bar!
