Busy with dissertation

I broke down and bought a laptop yesterday. Now I can make notes much quicker in the library, and can do my homework while Bill writes or plays video games. I am very pleased. It's the first time I have bought a computer for myself, let alone a laptop. I feel very busy. I have 2 book reviews I need to write but haven't had time. I wrote up 6000 words of notes yesterday, and have written the first 2500 words of my disertation. I need to finish the section on Taoism for my presentation this afternoon at 3pm! There are still so many periodical articles I need to read and make notes on. And I still need to find more primary sources in translation. Particularly anything about the Taoist Princesses. I think I need to write to more professors and ask their advice.

Still it's nice to be busy researching and writing. Probably my favourite thing to be doing. Much nicer than applying for jobs!
