I've been shelving the galleries above the Japanese and Indian rooms at work. One has lovely local history books from the 18th and 19th centuries, the other has most of our Japanese and Chinese language books. Playing around with our catalogue yesterday I found some really great books so this morning I was able to look at tomb paintings from the walls of Wu Zetian's son's tomb. As well as a copy of Emperor Tang Ming Huang's caligraphy. There are still other things I need to go back and look at. But it was lovely!
I also found a Taschen book of Vintage nude photographs, mostly from the Victorian era. The books had a few too many "ass shots" for my taste. But it was lovely to see normal sized models, and there were so many pictures where the women were READING! That was hot!
