This year I managed to read 109 books! Last year was only 87, and the year before around 82 I think. So this makes me very happy! I got to join SOAS library and Senate House library and I do so LOVE being able to borrow books from SOAS again. 37 of the books I read (about a third) came from a library. The author I read the most of was Kerouac, I discovered Elisabeth Gaskell, and William Morris, I read more Dennis Wheatley, Milan Kundera, and Thomas Hardy. I continued to love Wells. I read some amazingly well written and researched books on Chinese history and religion, Barrett's book on Wu Zetian, The cult of the fox by Kang, Mollier's Buddhism and Taoism face to face, and Judith Zeitlin's book the Phantom Heroine.

My "to read" shelf has no expanded into 3 shelves!!!! I don't think I will ever get caught up.

Full list of books I've read are on Anobii http://www.anobii.com/robotmel/books
