While I didn't enjoy the setting quite as much as Caves of Steel this was still very enjoyable. It dealt with different personal phobias, the concept of utopia vs. distopia and the nature of humanity. I wish Daneel had had a larger part to play in the book. It didn't have the same sense of drama as Caves of Steel but was more philosophical in nature, and quite creepy. The murder mystery part of the book seemed to have a much smaller role than in the first one. Still as enjoyable reading it the 2nd time around as it was the first. I shall really have to stop reading Asimov again now, so I can start getting to the books I haven't read yet on my bookshelf!
