Get your magnifying glasses out and don your deerstalkers to join us as we stage Death@Dana. This ‘murder mystery’ night will feature real scientists, dead pigs and gorging maggots to help guide us in our quest to find out how ”victim” Jane Doe died.
For one night only we will explore one of the last remaining taboos in Western society: death.
The event opens with mysterious death of Jane Doe. Three leading scientists give evidence on the possible causes of her demise including a brain haemorrhage; SADS (Sudden Adult Death Syndrome) or a cocaine overdose. Quiz the experts and take note of the clues they will reveal…
Examine the carcass of a dead pig to learn about the different stages of decomposition and feeding patterns of blowfly larvae. Discover what happens in the brain in out-of-body, near-death, mystical, spiritual or cosmic experiences which disrupt the flow of consciousness.
Finally, visitors can experience the infamous ‘death note’. A deeply resonating powerful sound, the death note was once believed by Cold War scientists to have the ability to kill.
At the end of the night, cast your vote on Jane Doe’s demise before the truth is uncovered. The most accomplished death detective will win a prize…
