Busy...

I've been averaging about 2000 words a day this week on the dissertation. Which I suppose is good though it brings the current total word count up to 21,685 (for a 10,000 word dissertation).

This morning in the post arrived my tickets for Wrecked (aka goth-party-on-a-fucking-boat) which will take place the day AFTER my dissertation gets handed it! I also got the Dalek stickers I ordered weeks ago to decorate my lap top.


I got an email from my professor, we have a meeting Monday at 10.30a. I'm to send him the rough draft of my chapters. Only two weeks left... Trying hard not to engage panic mode.

Today instead of finishing up Chapter 4 I have to take a detour in to work to make sure I get paid next month. Grrrrr. 2 extra hours on the district line not very helpful. I guess I can spend the time reading. I will be working every Saturday again once the library opens again on the 6th. I suppose this is a good thing especially as I had my hours cut during the week. But I have really been enjoying free saturdays. Must resume job hunt.

Debating the various merits of going out this weekend. Been having such a good time with everyone lately it's really hard to stay home. Trying to convinve myself that Dead and Buried or perhaps Kryptorium Saturday would be fun. It's not so much the time in the club I'm worried about but coming home late on the night bus and getting enough done in the sleeping in/hangover state clubbing tends to leave me in. I suppose I'll see how things go today.

And I beat Diablo 2.
