My book-of-the-month is now up on the King's College website!

I'm really pleased!!! It was SO much fun getting paid to do historical research, and I got to take all the picture myself in our digitisation suite. So even if you don't want to read about the history of China you should at least go and look at the pictures! :)
But it was a great book from 1667 about the Dutch Embassy who visited 10 years after the Ming-Qing Cataclysm. The English translator was published by a man who started as a dancer at court, so hopefully it's also quite interesting to read. (And yes I did get to sit and read the whole lovely 17th century book - and get paid for it!)
My college email is however broken on the link, they forgot the @kcl.ac.uk part of it. Hopefully that'll be fixed this afternoon!
Go look now!!! My boss is keeping track of the hit count. :)
